Full Watch List of 2013 Super Bowl Ads: But Where’s My Super Bowl Pop-up Shop?

So here for the record, is a directory of the ads aired during the 2013 Super Bowl XLVII: Ravens (34) vs. 49ers (31) – and the Pepsi Halftime Beyonce Show (scroll to bottom).

Lots of social media integration (trailed ads, YouTube releases, hashtags galore, and crowdsourcing), but little follow-on to e-commerce. So no showcasing of social commerce this year then, the integration of e-commerce with social media, and no pop-up Super Bowl stores linked to/in social media. Shame.

Indeed, overall there was little innovation from brands in the $4m pay-to-play annual advertising event – a set of very pedestrian and forgettable ads that appeared plucked from a 20C time warp; more talking babies, more crowdsourced creative, more interchangeable beer and car ads, and more focused-grouped #fails at low-brow laughter, thats you Go-Daddy.

Disappointing, with disappointment epitomised by Coca-cola’s interminable Chase ad. Is this really the future of the 30-second ad spot? Lame. Thank goodness for Beyonce, fellow Destiny’s Child-ren, Alicia and a cameo from LeBron James…

What do you think? Smart way to burn $4m? Best and Worst of 2013 Super Bowl ads?
